LDZ ritošā sastāva serviss Ltd together with the partner - the Czech company "CZ LOKO” has modernized the locomotive 2M62UM-0111. The new 2M62UM-0111 offers increased power and reduced fuel consumption, and its emission meets the European Union standards. During the next three years it is planned to manufacture 14 locomotives of this type for the needs of VAS "Latvijas dzelzceļš" to foster its competitiveness.
