SIA “LDZ ritošā sastāva serviss” (RSS) Daugavpils Locomotive Repair Centre has carried out vast refurbishment and repair work of two 2M62 and M62UP series diesel locomotives for a long-time customer - a private company from the Ukraine. The abovementioned locomotives were built in 1960s.
Pursuant to the concluded agreement, RSS performed TR-3 type of repair, as well as repair of diesel generator 14D40, including replacement of the old equipment and carried out painting of the locomotive, using the latest technologies, as the result of which the locomotives have started their second life and will continue pulling of freights for our customer.
