Last week, prior to and inspired by the Big Clean-Up in Latvia, the employees of SIA “LDZ ritošā sastāva serviss” (RSS) in cooperation with SIA “Alūksnes-Gulbenes bānītis” repainted the steam locomotive manufactured in 1952.
The locomotive has been standing near the Gulbene railway station form many years and under the effect of various weather conditions it had lost its initial glamour.
But now, as the result of the collective work of RSS employees, it has regained its earliest noble looks and will continue to please the eye of every inhabitant and visitor of Gulbene town.
